I’m Myles, a Brighton-based creative specialising in event and portrait photography.
I’ve been taking photos regularly since I was a teenager, but the idea of becoming a professional photographer first occurred when I was a kid, taking photos on my travels in Bali.
Since I started shooting events, I’ve taken photos of numerous musicians including Chase & Status, My Nu Leng, Basement Jaxx, P Money, JME and J Hus. DJ Mag have published some of my work and I’ve been featured in various music blogs and had my photos used by my local paper. Multiple musicians have used my photos as the artwork for their official releases. It’s all still a bit surreal but I’m sure I’ll get used to it. Or I wont.
In addition to events, I also shoot portraits and behind the scenes content as part of my photo work. Outside of the photos I take for clients, I really enjoy street photography and shooting landscapes, which I do a lot on my travels (mainly the only reason I travel). At the moment, street photos and landscapes are just hobbies, but one day I’d like to incorporate them into my commissioned work.
On top of photography, I also engage in other creative ventures. I produce a variety of video content, examples of which are available on request. Using my experience working for record labels and in artist management, I also help musicians with their branding and online appearance.
